The University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine is a bilingual medical school situated in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The Cellular & Molecular Medicine Department (CMM) is a big interdisciplinary vibrant department made up of 30 faculty scientists and teaching employees as well as 63 cross-appointed or adjunct members. It provides both M.Sc and PhD graduate programs and post-doctoral training. In a multitude of physiological systems, the department retains an active and well-funded multidisciplinary research program to study ordinary and pathological cell function. Specific research interests of the faculty include computational biology, cancer, cardiovascular regulation, growth and development, gastrointestinal system, renal function, diabetes and obesity, pharmacology and neuroscience.

Scholarship for MBBS in University of Ottawa:
Newly admitted global learners registered in full-time undergraduate programs beginning in the fall of 2019, winner of 2020 or spring of 2020 will automatically receive a scholarship of $1,250 per term, up to a maximum of $10,000.

University of Ottawa Hostel Life:
The hostel at the University is a lovely place to live. There is a great demand for apartments and furnished rooms at the beginning of each semester. It is recommended to start looking ahead of time and if possible several months before arriving in for the accommodation to be available.
Independent rooms are available to the students or the rooms can be shared by 2 students. The rooms are large and are provided with air conditioner, water heaters, furniture, bed, telephones, internet access, etc.. There are public laundry and common kitchen.
